In a poetic collaboration between avant-garde horology and high jewelry artistry, MB&F joins forces with French jewelry designer Emmanuel Tarpin to unveil two exquisite interpretations of the Legacy Machine FlyingT: “Ice” and “Blizzard.”

Limited to only eight pieces per version, these FlyingT models embody the perfect fusion of mechanical mastery and gem-setting artistry, pushing the limits of both engineering and aesthetics.

Frozen Poetry in Motion

In tune with the winter season and the approaching holidays, the two creations capture the ethereal essence of ice and snow through shades of blue, white, and shimmering gemstones.

The case architecture remains identical to the standard FlyingT — 39 mm in diameter and 20 mm thick, including the signature highly domed sapphire crystal that defines the collection’s sculptural profile.

The “Blizzard” Edition

The Blizzard version evokes a swirling snowstorm beneath the sapphire dome.
Tarpin meticulously places hand-selected diamonds over a Lapis Lazuli dial, creating the illusion of snowflakes dancing over frozen ground.
The result is mesmerizing — a literal snow globe for the wrist, where every turn of light breathes motion into the storm.

The “Ice” Edition

The Ice edition conjures the imagery of fractured glacier shards, with diamond “ice crystals” seemingly advancing from the periphery toward the center of the dial.
Each diamond shard is unique in shape and orientation, emphasizing the organic randomness of nature.
These icy “claws” reach inward just enough to frame — without obscuring — the heart of the watch: the flying tourbillon.

The FlyingT Movement

At the core of both creations is MB&F’s remarkable vertically constructed automatic movement, crowned by a flying 60-second tourbillon topped with a 0.03-carat Paraiba diamond.

As its name suggests, the Flying Tourbillon appears to float freely within the domed crystal, unobstructed by bridges, offering a captivating view of its rhythmic ballet.

The time display, delicately angled at 7 o’clock, sits on a Lapis Lazuli subdial matching the main dial’s tone.
Elegant serpentine hands in 18K white gold mark the hours and minutes.

Comprising 280 components and boasting a five-day power reserve, the movement perfectly balances technical prowess and visual poetry.

Final Touches

Both editions come with a premium alligator leather strap paired with an 18K white gold folding clasp.
Each retails for USD 170,000 — a reflection not only of the exceptional craftsmanship involved, but also of the ultra-limited nature of the collaboration.
