Let’s start with the basics: this is a true luxury sports watch in every sense — stainless-steel case, integrated bracelet, screw-down crown, and 100-meter water resistance.
But the real magic — the “wow factor” — lies beneath the surface: a French-made micro-rotor automatic movement, proudly developed and produced in YEMA’s homeland.
A Revival Led by Passion
At the helm of YEMA’s modern resurgence is Christopher Bôle, the brand’s CEO and head of design.
Under his direction — and with a team of highly skilled watchmakers averaging over 30 years of experience, many trained at France’s most prestigious horological institutions — YEMA has reestablished itself as a brand synonymous with quality, aesthetics, and authenticity.
From military collaborations to professional sports partnerships and scientific expeditions, the brand has consistently demonstrated its technical credibility.
The new Wristmaster Traveller Limited Edition continues that proud legacy.

Case and Design
Crafted in stainless steel, the case measures 39 mm in diameter with a geometrically faceted design, giving it strong architectural character. The six-segment concave bezel adds visual depth, while the brushed surfaces and polished chamfers deliver a refined finish.
The result is a watch that feels muscular yet elegant — evoking the spirit (if not the price tag) of icons like the Patek Philippe Nautilus, Vacheron Constantin Overseas, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, or Czapek Antarctique.

Dimensionally, it’s right on trend:
- Diameter: 39 mm
- Lug-to-lug: 43.5 mm
- Thickness: just 9.2 mm (down from 12 mm in the previous generation)
For context, the Royal Oak “Extra-Thin” measures 39 mm × 8 mm × 48.5 mm — remarkably close proportions, except the YEMA won’t cost you a small fortune.

Dial and Display
Protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the dial is a masterclass in understated sophistication.
Gentle curvature flows toward 6 o’clock, while the sunburst finish shifts tone under light — a subtle play of depth and texture.
The bold hands and applied hour markers are filled with BGW9 Super-LumiNova, ensuring superb nighttime visibility.
The overall design captures the essence of a luxury sports watch, though one can’t deny clear aesthetic parallels with the Nautilus 5711 — an influence YEMA seems to embrace rather than conceal.

Movement: CMM.20 Micro-Rotor Calibre
At the heart of this timepiece lies the CMM.20, YEMA’s first fully in-house micro-rotor automatic movement.
At just 3.7 mm thick yet boasting a 70-hour power reserve, it represents a remarkable technical achievement for the French manufacture.

Approximately 80% of the production process takes place in France. The 190 components are assembled and fine-tuned at YEMA’s Morteau atelier, the brand’s historic headquarters.
The movement beats at 4 Hz (28,800 vph) with an accuracy approaching chronometer standards (-3/+7 seconds per day).
Finishing is sandblasted with a choice of three color themes (matching each dial variant), and the brand backs it with a 3-year warranty — a confident statement of reliability.
