VACHERON CONSTANTIN, dating back to 1755, has a rich heritage of a long-lasting and uninterrupted operation. The Maison became universally-known for maintaining and supporting the finest horological traditions such as engine-turning, enamelling, miniature-painting, engraving, etc.

Respected as one of the "Holy Trinity", VACHERON CONSTANTIN is a master of watch design, especially dress watches. The ref. 31039/1 presented here shows just that. The general design is simple but balanced. The surface somehow is very clean but one can easily underrate. The yellow gold hands adorn harmoniously the dial, and in a combination with the also-made-in-yellow-gold hour markers, the whole thing just pops.

A very slim case, measuring at just 6 mm, this is a true elegant dress watch which can slide perfectly under the cuff. Rounded bezel and straight lugs, they might seem ordinary at first but can offer a whole lot of classical design, and in the end that is what a sophisticated person needs.

Powered by a manual-winding calibre 1132-2, featuring Côtes de Genève treatment, constructed with 20 jewels and adjusted to 5 positions, this movement is stable, serviceable and reliable.
