What pops up immediately when people presented with GRAND SEIKO (GS) is the association with SEIKO watches - some a-few-hundred-dollar watches being exhibited in any shopping mall. In spite of sharing the same name SEIKO in both brands, that is where the similarity ends.

GS is a truly high-end take on the watch industry. Mr. Philippe Dufour once said in an interview that the best watchmaking did not stay in Switzerland anymore. He strongly implied Japan and Germany. Now GS is no stranger in the luxury watch race.
