The fact that only few have heard of this brand is just so sad. Comparing to its competitor ROLEX who produces annually around one million watches, BLANCPAIN is more ‘humble’ with 10,000 units per year approximately, making this brand quite rare, and exclusive as well.

Here we’ve got a time-and-date only Villeret Ultraplate, a simple work of art that reflects what BLANCPAIN states “Villeret is our most classical collection”. The off-white dial, featuring manually-polished hands and hour markers is just something one may underlook at first, but then be stunned later.

People commonly think “I will not pay more than 10 grand for a watch that just tells you the time and nothing else”. We admit we used to have the same thought.
