World time complication is one of the most complex mechanisms, and usually leaves you speechless with its price tag. However, ‘usually’ does have exceptions sometimes. Proudly offering a world time to you, not for your wrist, but pretty much for your desk.
Here’s the CITIZEN World Time Table Clock, and that shows not just the Swiss know how to do world time. Unlike some other table clocks we delivered, this clock is rather large. Measuring almost 20 cm in width and 23 cm in height (including the stand), a decent presence there is. A special feature is that there is a see-through space between the actual dial and the case, making the dial floating-like which is mysterious.
The must-talk-about is the world time function, which has a fixed outer ring for standard cities, an underneath rotating day/night disk, and local time. Another nice touch is the centre that is decorated representing the globe.
Fun fact: This is quartz, but it doesn’t tick. It glides.
