Louis Cartier, in 1904, granted the desire of the Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont: to be able to tell time while flying. Then, history was made.

The rounded angles of the dial, the seamless curve of the horns, and the exposed screws made for an iconic watch that would inspire countless reinterpretations. Here we have a Santos Galbée.

This watch packs all of the above, but more distinctively featuring an eye-catching burnt dial and aged blue hands. The bi-colour gold and steel look brings luxury vibes. You can rock it formally even though it's not a traditional dress watch, or go sporty but not as casual as a Seamaster. Functional yet still attractive.
